Working 11-13 hours days at the moment. Can't wait to get back on a 9:30-6 schedule. That would be sweet!
I'm up working right now at 7:45AM. There is a television/entertainment conference at the Renaissance DC that my bosses are attending. I'm along to help reserve space and keep their schedules/notes up-to-date. An overall managing job, but that requires I get here early enough to get a table and reserve chairs. I am so not a morning person, but constantly I amaze my self by how productive I CAN be when I get up, have breakfast, and actually utilize a list of things to accomplish.
This Realscreen conference... it is like another card in my pocket because I am now here meeting this people (briefly), getting to see their faces and getting them to associate mine with all those emails that they get. Not to mention that I have been in charge of everything. And trying to keep these guys on track is hard!
I'm just relieved that it is almost over

A New Year... New Possibilities
A New Year... New Possibilities.
Story House Productions is on a roll. 2012 and The Real Wolfman did very well. Our Jellyfish Special is moving right along at Discovery. ID wants a pilot of another series. We're in constant battle about our croc guys because Nat Geo just commissioned Python Hunters or something stupid.
Realscreen conference is next week here in DC and I've been working to get meetings set up. We've been lucky. OWN, A&E, truTV, Slice, MTV, Canwest (food, hgtv, and diy in canada), VH1, etc. It is a pain in my back though. Hopefully things will work out and I'll be able to tag along.
I joined Fitness First and got a trainer. Robert kicks my ass two times a week. It's good for my morale.
Living with four (well actually five) fabulous people and a silly cat. I'm continuously nesting. My room is almost done. In the process of looking for a nice dresser.
So I work and work and work and work out and sleep. yay for the real world!
